Today was one of those quieter days that still managed to fill up with plenty of activity. We walked nearly 15,000 steps! We started with a beautiful breakfast in our apartment with Eva and her family. It was a bit of a squeeze with seven of us, but we made it work, especially with so many fresh blueberries and strawberries, they taste amazing here.
We spent the morning packing up and moving to the penthouse apartment for our last couple of days. Eva and her family went to the Seaplane Museum, while we had our own mission: mum wanted to visit fabric shops in search of ribbon. I may have led us a little off track with directions, but it sparked a conversation about the value of walking and taking our time.
We found a few beautiful items that may just become future products for Estonian Designs AU, stay tuned! Lunch at home was a wholesome spread of whatever we had, and I really enjoy eating this way.
Later, we wandered back into Vanalinn, picked up an order, and rejoined Eva’s family. I cooked dinner for everyone, chicken with chanterelle mushrooms. A simple, lovely day that felt like living here.
