Collection: Hageri

Hageri parish is one of the largest and oldest parishes in Harju County. The parish is located in the central part of the county. The neighboring parishes are Keila, Nissi, Jüri, Kose, Juuru and Rapla. Today, the borders of Hageri parish include Kohila rural municipality in Rapla County with Kohila township, Kiisa and Kurtna villages.

In terms of folk costumes, Hageri belonged to Harju County and also to Northern Estonia. By the mid-19th century, the development of clothing here had somewhat taken its own path. The proximity to the city of Tallinn undoubtedly had an influence.
